About Dr. Md. Shayedat Ullah
Dr. Md. Shayedat Ullah passed MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College under University of Dhaka in 2011. He joined Bangladesh civil service (BCS health cadre) in 2014. He then deputed to MD residency program (5 year course) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and achieved MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Endocrinology and Metabolism in 2021. He is now working as an Endocrinologist (Diabetes, Thyroid and Hormone specialist) in the department of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Shahbag, Dhaka. He is very active in clinical, academic and research activities. Recently he received membership from American College of Physicians (MACP-USA) and American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (MACE-USA). He is also the General and life member of Association of Clinical Endocrinologist and Diabetologist of Bangladesh (ACEDB) and Bangladesh Endocrine Society (BES).
His areas of concern are in the field of management of Diabetes, Specially of uncontrolled Diabetes, young onset, pregnancy related diabetes and its complications, all kinds of thyroid hormone disorders, obesity and metabolic disorders including Fatty liver, weight loss, Hormone related menstrual irregularities including PCOS, perimenopausal syndrome / Hot flash, short stature and delayed puberty including Growth Hormone deficiency, Micropenis, infertility, gynaecomastia (male breast enlargement), sexual dysfunction, osteoporosis, calcium, mineral, and Vit D deficiency disorder, Endocrine hypertension, Hypothalamo-pituitary and Adrenal disorder.
