About Dr. Md. Meraj Uddin Mollah
Dr. Md. Meraj Uddin Mollah completed his MBBS in 2003 from the topmost medical college of Bangladesh (Dhaka Medical College) and later joined the MS Orthopaedic Surgery course at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) formerly known as Pongu Hospital in 2006. He also had brilliant results in HSC and SSC securing 4th and 6th positions respectively in the combined merit list. He completed his MS (Ortho) course in 2010 at the age of 32. He was the youngest Orthopaedic Surgeon while obtaining an MS (Ortho) Degree. He has worked in different capacities in government hospitals in his career under the Ministry of Health (BCS Health). Dr. Md. Meraj Uddin Mollah is an expert in Ilizarov and all kinds of Adult and Paediatric Deformity Correction Surgery. With the technique numerous unsolved Orthopaedic problems can be easily solved, previously thought impossible or very difficult. Numerous limbs have been saved with this surgery which would otherwise require amputation. He is efficiently and successfully treating Orthopaedic patients for the last 15 years and has performed more than 10000 Ilizarov surgeries.
