Dr. Md. Rakibul Islam is a highly skilled and experienced Oral & Dental Surgeon based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He currently serves as the Chief Dental Surgeon at Oro Dental Aid, where he is committed to providing advanced, evidence-based, and patient-centered dental care.He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Dhaka and completed Postgraduate Training (PGT) in both Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also CPR Certified by Dhaka Medical College. Early in his career, he served as a Former Honorary Medical Officer (Ex-HMO) at Dhaka Dental College & Hospital, gaining valuable experience in comprehensive dental and oral healthcare.

As part of his international humanitarian work, Dr. Rakibul served as a Research Fellow & Dental Surgeon in the WHO & UNHCR-Supported FDMN Health Project (Basmah USA), where he provided oral and dental healthcare services to Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. He is currently associated with Basmah USA Health Care as a Consultant Dental Surgeon, Project Instructor, and Research Fellow, contributing to dental education, public health initiatives, clinical research, and professional training programs.
