Prof. Dr. Subash Kanti Dey is a senior consultant neurologist specialising in brain, nerve, spine, stroke, migraine and headache disorders in Gandaria, Dhaka, with credentials MBBS and MD (Neurology), plus a Fellowship in Interventional Neurology & Stroke (India) and Special Training in ASD (South Korea); formerly Professor & Head of the Stroke & Interventional Neurology Division at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (Ex-BSMMU), he is regarded as a pioneer of neuro-interventional care in Bangladesh — having performed thousands of cerebral angiograms, aneurysm coilings, AVM embolizations, carotid angioplasties & stenting procedures — and currently consults patients as Senior Consultant in Neuro-medicine, Stroke & Interventional Neurology at Asgar Ali Hospital, located at 111/1/A Distillery Road, Gandaria, where his visiting hours are 9 AM to 5 PM (closed Fridays).
